- To introduce the student to the analysis and planning of cities and regions of the Southern countries, in the frame of spatial macro-phenomena induced by globalization
-to develop a method of analysis and critical interpretation of the contexts
-to define the main elements to design participatory projects at urban and regional scale to be used in international cooperation projects.
